DO I HAVE TO PART OF A GROUP TO COME?

No, you may join any open session whether it is hosted or not.

WHAT IF I WANT TO HOST A SESSION?

We'd love to have you. Please call us and we will go over our hostess program with you. (616) 257-3545

It's a convenient location to come and make meals for your freezer in a short amount of time. Just order your meals from our menu at least 48 hours in advance. When you come into the kitchen, we have 15 recipe stations set up, each containing all of the ingredients, pans, cooking directions, and tools needed to make that recipe. You will move about the kitchen, from station to station, assembling each of the recipes that you chose. When you finish a dish, you put it in one of our refrigerators and move to the next station. We'll even clean up behind you. It's that easy. We also provide directions on how to safely thaw and prepare it, along with some suggestions for presentation and serving.

HOW DO I SIGN UP?

On-line go to the “Getting Started” link; by phone (616) 257-3545, fax (616) 257-3321 or stop by our kitchen.

WHAT DO I BRING TO A SESSION?

1. Something to pull your hair back or a hat of some type (i.e. baseball hat). This is to ensure safe food handling. If you don’t have a hat, we have bandanas here.

2. A large sized cooler to take your meals home in (pans average 9 x 13 in size). To ensure safe food handling as recommended by the Department of Agriculture, we encourage the use of a cooler or other insulated container to take your food home in.

3. Any additional beverage choices: We will provide coffee, tea, water, and soft drinks. You are permitted to bring your own alcohol.

4. Your calendar: We often have incentives for those who sign up for another session before leaving.

5. Form of Payment: Please bring in a check, Mastercard, Visa, Amex or cash when you come to a session. If you have coupon or discount card, please bring that as well. NOTE: If you paid on line, please bring your card with you. Occasionally we will need your card to process the payment.

WHAT IF I DON 'T LIKE AN INGREDIENT? CAN I LEAVE IT OUT?

The ingredients and directions for assembly are all provided by us. Additionally, we will provide suggestions on which ingredients can be left out or substituted and which ones you can add extra of without disrupting the integrity of the dish. That way, you can adjust them to cater to your families' likes and dislikes.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO ATTEND A SESSION?

That depends on how you order your meals and which entrees you select. We wanted to be as flexible as possible for our guests, so we came up with a unique point system that allows you to order the size dishes that you want, the quantity of each selection that you want, and the ability to vary it from entrée to entrée. Each point is worth $2.00. When you have completed your selections, the total of your order will be calculated and you may either go back to make adjustments, or move forward to pay.

An average 12-dish, full order session will cost about $185. That averages out to only about $2.50 per serving. Compare that to a night out!

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SPLITTING MEALS AND ½ ORDERS?

A half order means just that. Whatever dish you choose, you make a 2-3 portion entrée instead of a 4-6 portion entree. If you order 12 dishes, you take home 12 half orders. 1/2 orders are limited to sessions that are designated for 9 or more meals.

A split order is the same as a full (and even ordered as a full). However, when you come in to our kitchen, you may to choose to, "split" your full order into two smaller pans. Example, if you sign up for a 12 meal session and choose to split all of your meals, you would go home with 24 small pans. This option is available at any of our sessions and there is no additional charge. You may bring a guest to split with you, but only one of you place the order.

WHAT MAKES IT FUN?

Music, conversation, food drink, and friends: that's what makes our kitchen fun. Come with friends or come to meet friends, either way, you'll have a great time.

WHAT IF I AM SICK?

If you are coughing, sneezing, running a fever or have any other symptoms that may be contagious, please call to make other arrangements, or send in a substitute to make your dinners for you.

Please remember to call to make other arrangements, otherwise your credit card will be charged in full.

WHAT IF I CAN'T MAKE IT TO MY SESSION?

We understand that things come up that prevent you from coming in. However, because we have to preorder our ingredients for each session, we ask that you give us 2 days notice when canceling. If something comes up last minute, you can send in a substitute or we can put the meals together for you for a small fee. Just call us and make arrangements for pick-up.

Please remember to call to make other arrangements, otherwise your credit card will be charged in full.

CAN I ORDER JUST ONE DINNER FOR TONIGHT?

Each day we offer a selection of freshly prepared meals and side dishes from our Fresh2Nite menu . You can stop in to pick one up. (Mondays 3:00-7:00, Tuesday-Friday 10:00-7:00). Or phone ahead to guarantee your selection. Some dishes can even be ordered cooked and ready-to-eat. If you want something off of our regular menu for that day, please call us to place your order. We will do our best to accommodate all orders.

WHAT ABOUT GETTING A MEAL DELIVERED?

This is a great option if you know someone who is in the hospital, just had a baby, ect. Just give us a call and we will make and deliver the meal to their door (limited delivery area: charges apply). It's less expensive than flowers and it's a great way to tell someone you care
