WHAT IS A MEAL ASSEMBLY KITCHEN?
This is a convenient way to get a variety of meals in your freezer without a lot of time, effort, or cleanup. Everything that you take home is freezable and many of the dishes go home in the containers to bake them in, so you don't have a lot of clean-up. When you are busy or just don't feel like cooking, pull one out and follow the easy cooking directions.

HOW AN ASSEMBLY KITCHEN WORKS:
When you come in to the kitchen, you will check in and pay for your meals that you pre-ordered when you registered for the session. If you have any discounts or coupons, we will adjust your order at check-in. Once checked in, one of our staff will show you around the kitchen and give you a brief orientation on how the kitchen works. We have 15 recipe stations set up, each containing all of the ingredients, pans, cooking directions, and tools needed to make that recipe. You will move about the kitchen, from station to station, assembling each of the recipes that pre-ordered. When you finish a dish, put it in one of our refrigerators and move to the next station. We'll even clean up behind you. It's that easy.

At each session we provide soft drinks, coffee, tea, or water and a light snack. You are welcome to bring your own beverages, like a bottle of wine*, just to add to the fun.

*ALiCAT KiTCHENS will not provide or serve alcohol and cannot be held responsible for any guests choosing to consume alcohol during a session.

HOW TO REGISTER FOR A SESSION:

THE CALENDAR
All of our session types are available on our calendar page, along with a description of all of our different session types. To register for a session, simply click on the link and follow the step-by-step ordering process. Once you have selected a time, you will be asked to choose your menu.

THE MENU:
Every month we offer 15 menu items to choose from. You may order as many of any one item as you wish. We also offer side dishes that can be ordered in addition to your main entrees. These side items will be ready for you when you come to your session. For more information about our food, visit our ABOUT OUR FOOD page.

PORTION SIZES TO FIT YOUR FAMILY SIZE
We offer three ways to make meals at our kitchen: Full, Split and Half Size Meals. You can make Full or Split size meals at any of our sessions. To add the option of just making half size meals, choose a 9 Meal, 12 Meal or Stop In and Stock Up session. You can order any combination of sizes at those sessions.

DESCRIPTION of FULL, SPLIT, or HALF:
FULL ORDER: (Available at any session): This is a meal that typically has 6 portions and will feed 4 to 6 people, depending on appetites. It counts as ONE menu item when ordering.

SPLIT ORDER: (Available at any session): This is the same number of portions as the full order, but you can choose to divide it into two smaller pans to accommodate smaller families. For example: Instead of putting 6 pieces of Chicken Parmesan in one large pan, you would use two smaller pans and put 3 pieces of meat in each one. There is no additional charge for this option. You will order a FULL and choose to make it as a SPLIT when you come in.

HALF ORDER: (NOT available on sessions designated for less than 9 meals) A half order is one meal in one pan and has 3 portions in it. It serves 2 to 3 people. This is great for families that are smaller and want more variety. Each half order counts as one menu item.

COST OF A SESSION:
ABOUT OUR UNIQUE POINT SYSTEM: Each menu item is assigned a point value. Each point is worth $2. When you order, the total will be automatically calculated for you.

A 12 meal session will cost about $185-$200, depending on your menu selection.

WHAT IF I CAN'T MAKE MY SESSION?
We understand that things come up that prevent you from coming in. However, because we use fresh meats and order our ingredients for each session and prep them, we ask that you give us at least 2 days notice when canceling. If something comes up last minute, you can send a substitute or we can put the meals together for you for a small fee. Just call us make arrangements for pick-up. Please remember to call to make other arrangements, otherwise your credit card will be charged in full.

MEALS ASSEMBLED FOR YOU: PICK-UP OR DELIVERY
If you don't have time to come to a session, just have us make it for you.There are no minimums for pick-up. Just go to our MaKE IT 4Me link or phone in to place your order. We'll even deliver! There is a small fee for assembly and delivery. We also have meals in our freezer that you can just stop by and pick-up. You can call or stop by for a list of available items.
